If you’ve spent any amount of time on our website, you’ve probably noticed that we have a penchant for posting recipes that call for lamb, beef, or both. (Check out our Kafta and Lamb Stuffed Grapeleaves for proof.) Lucky for our herbivore friends, however, many Middle Eastern recipes (including this one!) are vegetarian-friendly and can be adapted for vegans as well.

While this unique hummus recipe also works with minced lamb, beef, or chicken, we are particularly fond of the flavor that Quorn Meatless Crumbles bring to the table…and the effect they have on our waistlines. If you’re vegan, the only substitution you’ll need to make is that of olive oil for ghee. Happy hummus-ing!
